Wonderful 19th century French dining table, lovely honey coloured patina to the beech top which has been acquired over many years. Made from a rare two plank construction the top sits on its original pine base, the legs are raised on metal castors.

History ~
19th century, France.

Condition ~
There are signs of wear to the legs and some evidence of historic woodworm around the base of the legs and on the inside of the stretchers, which has been treated, but this does not detract from the appeal of the table. The drawer is a period replacement and sits loosely in place. The table is strong and solid.
