A glass beaded wire wreath in a star shape, with a plaster cherub in the centre. This is a wonderful decorative item using white, cream and turquoise coloured beads.

History ~
Dating from the early 1900’s these bead work wreaths were made in France.  They were used to commemorate special occasions, including funerals.

Condition ~
There are some rust stains to the binding which holds the frame together and the cherub has been repaired, as shown in the images. The bead work is complete and the frame is solid.
