Confectioner’s mixing bowl or ‘cul de poule’, made from hand beaten copper, which is faintly visible on the inside.  Lovely detailing to the handles and rim.

History ~
Circa 1900, France.  Ofren used for beating eggs in order to make confectionery products, a very traditional design with its rounded bottom.

Condition ~
Consistent with its age and normal usage.  The copper has not recently been polished.  There are no specific dents or marks.

H 18 (excluding handles) x diameter to edge of rim 43.5 cm.
