Pair of religious figures carved from wood. One holds a chalice and the other has his arms folded. They are wearing long robes and there are remnants of gilt throughout. Characterful faces and patina, wonderful decorative pieces.

Circa 1850s, purchased in France.

Condition ~
There are lots of signs of wear, one man has a shallow split down the back, but it is solid and stable. Various chips to the wood and plenty of paint loss.
